Arkansas State University

A-State United Way is where passionate student leaders are committed to improving lives and strengthening communities. We focus on education, financial stability and health, because those are the things everyone needs to build a good quality life. You can change your community and the world through Student United Way.

On April 13, A-State United Way in partnership with Volunteer A-State and various other campus organizations will host A-State Day of Caring where students, faculty and staff spend a day giving back to Nonprofits in the Jonesboro area. Student groups can be registered student organizations, classes, campus religious organizations, fraternities and sororities, department offices, alumni groups or just a group of friends! Projects may be cleaning up a playground, packing food boxes, washing cars for senior citizens or buses for The Learning Center, painting walls, putting together bookshelves, whatever our local nonprofits need!

To sign up, select morning or afternoon and register up to 10 people per team! If you have more than 10, complete 2 forms. If some can do mornings and some afternoons, just complete seperate forms for each. Be sure to indicate if each member will attend lunch and their shirt size. We're excited to have you join us for the 3rd Annual A-State Day of Caring!

A-State United Way holds United We Dance each fall as part of the A-State Campaign for United Way. In 2017, students raised $3,232.17 to benefit programs such as CityYouth, Familie Tiez, The Learning Center, Centro Hispano En Jonesboro and The Children's Shelter. Come join us at United We Dance in 2018! Click to see highlights from 2017!
