Who We Are

United Way of Northeast Arkansas is an organization dedicated to helping people.  This is accomplished by volunteers and staff who assess community needs, raise funds, allocate resources, and encourage collaborative efforts to build a stronger and healthier community.

United Way offers an opportunity for donors to ‘unite’ under one umbrella in order to affect change and improve lives in the community.  In addition, the organization brings together volunteers, health and human service agencies, government officials and other leaders in the community to assess and respond to the immediate needs in Northeast Arkansas. United Way strives to be all inclusive.

United Way of Northeast Arkansas is made of mostly volunteers.  The Board of Directors, Committees, Day of Caring, etc are all volunteers. These volunteers help make key decisions about how our organization operates in the community.

Numerous organizations receive funding from United Way of Northeast Arkansas. These programs focus on Education, Health and Financial Stability. Programs are monitored for efficiency, and together offer a wide-reaching, comprehensive response to the health and human service needs in our community.

Those who invest in United Way of Northeast Arkansas help improve the lives of the people in the eight-county community we serve. Investors include individuals and businesses, people just like you. We believe in the Power of One! One person uniting with others to make a difference!
